On the Marin Co. side of the Golden Gate Bridge, just after crossing, exit left into a parking lot and walk the trail (full of mushrooms!) down to the beach. The walk is beautiful, filled with smells of pines, and through picnic and camp sites. The first of these pictures was taken from the trail, the last two from the parking lot, the rest from the beach. We hit a beautiful, clear and warm day during Christmas 2008.
